Rodney King's Been Shot!

Rodney KingRodney King, famous for a videotaped beating from Los Angeles police back in 1991, was shot and wounded on a San Bernardino street corner late Wednesday.

King called Rialto police just before midnight to report the shooting. According to Sgt. Don Lewis, King was struck in the face and arm -- with what appeared to be pellets or birdshot. When police arrived at King's home, they reported that King and others inside appeared drunk. The man got shot in the face -- he deserves a drink!

King was taken to a local hospital, and his wounds were not believed to be life-threatening.

63. I am deeply concerned by these heinous remarks. Rodney was a good man before LAPD decided to give him brain damage with their beatings. If only you people would have a kind heart, our nation will begin to heal.

65. The riots occurred because of years of police brutality that had happened for years before that incident and continues to happen. Also, it's nobody's business what he chose to do with his money.

No, the riots occurred because a careless thug had no value for human life and the people who incited the riot just could not deal with the thug getting his head, deservedly, kicked in when he resisted arrest. Deal with your thugs and the police won't have to, that's called responsibility and accountability.
